About Limestone

The main component of limestone is calcium carbonate. Generally, generates quicklime and slaked lime. The main component of quicklime is CaO, usually in the form of lumps, pure white, light gray, or yellowish when containing impurities. Quicklime absorbs moisture or water to become slaked lime, slaked lime is also called slaked lime, and its main component is Ca(OH)2.applications.

  4. Construction aggregate: generally processed to 1-4cm, produce stone, sand; crusher – vibrating screen – sand making machine – conveyor belt – sand washing machine, for sand and gravel aggregate.
  5. Industrial filler (paper, rubber, plastic, glass, toothpaste, etc.)

Limestone crushing process

Graded crushing solution

Limestone is fed evenly by a vibrating feeder to the jaw crusher for primary crushing, the jaw crusher carries out the first stage of crushing, the stone material from jaw crusher is around 150mm-300mm, after primary crushing, the material and fine material screened by vibrating feeder are transported to impact crusher by belt conveyor, and then the material is crushed by the impact crusher (medium and fine crushing), and then round vibrating screen is used to crush the material after primary crushing. After crushing by the impact crusher (medium and fine crushing), the limestone after crushing by the impact crusher is screened by the circular vibrating screen: the larger particles are returned to the impact crusher to be crushed again, and the qualified materials are graded according to the demand and transferred to different storage piles by the conveyor belt for storage or directly transported to the construction site by trucks.

One-time crushing solution

The equipment configuration of the primary molding program is very simple, mainly using a heavy hammer crusher, a single machine, combined with vibrating screen screening, supplemented by a vibrating feeder, belt conveyor, to complete the formation of the entire production line can be completed. Compared with the graded crushing, the configuration of the primary molding program is simpler, simplifies the workflow, and the production line is more efficient.
